unfortunately the TRex is not able to power the timefactor or anything 18v. i tried using the y-cable to tap into two outputs (9v + 9v) but noticed a lot of noise. i just power it with a separate 1-spot.

Does that TRex is capable to feed the timefactor? I have the timefactor, modfactor, whammy, dunlop 535Q wha, Lexicon MPX R1 and Im looking for a device capable to feed all my pedals, is it the correct option?

i guess with many pedals its… mix/match and tweak what you can….eheh
I enjoy these vids. Makes decent tone seem able to be achieved.

i was thinking the same thing. i see a lot of pro players using the fd2. i had a fd2 mosfet and it didnt work well with my setup so i put it up on ebay.

i find it really interesting that most of the “pros” use FD2 and make it sound. i guess tone is really in the hands

i got to play a couple nash teles set up with lollar specials at a local guitar shop in atl. the lollar specials were thick sounding and the pick attack, responsive. at that point, i was convinced that was the sound i’m after.

i’ve watched a couple fralin blues special videos on youtube and they are great sounding too.

it’s stock pup right now and i’ve been too hesitant to change it. but now i think i’m sold that I do have to change. i’ve read a lot of good things about lollars and fralins. but reading & hearing are 2 different things. i guess i just have to make the jump and try both.

rhoy, what kind of pups do you have on your tele? i’m saving up for some lollar special t’s. the texas specials are ok; they are kind of muddy, mid-rangy
